Since 2007 Salida Circus Outreach Foundation has offered circus training for personal development to youth and adults in Chaffee County, Colorado, and beyond!
The Salida Circus Outreach Foundation (SCOF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in September 2007 to provide circus training to children and adults in Chaffee County as a personal development and community-building tool. Tutors offer weekly workshops and three annual camps to teach acrobatics, stilt-walking, juggling, trapeze, unicycling, plate-spinning, clowning, and more. Participants have the opportunity to participate in more than 20 shows per year at senior centers, nursing homes, festivals, fundraisers, parades, and other community events.

Five Rings of Salida Circus
The Salida Circus Outreach Foundation is built on five vibrant rings—each one a stage where creativity and community come alive. the five rings consist of Events, Circus School, International Connection, Salida Cirque-Haus, and The Club.
Events
serves as our performance agency, connecting talented artists with paid opportunities while offering affordable entertainment for local celebrations.
Circus SchoolÂ
is the heart of our outreach, providing classes, camps, and workshops for all ages and abilities,
International Connection
links us to the world through Caravan, global exchanges, and visiting interns who share culture and creativity across borders.
Salida CirqueHaus
our headquarters at 605 Teller Street, brings artists and neighbors together under one roof, offering affordable housing and dorms for students and performers. And
The Club
our training facility, opens its doors to circus, theater, and sports groups—welcoming the community to move, play, and grow through memberships, classes, and open gyms.
